1. YAFE kicks off in Yaounde

The 2009 edition of the yearly entertainment event in Yaounde dubbed YAFE has been launched by the Government Delegate to the Yaounde City Council, Gilbert TSIMI EVOUNA.

Speaking at the launch Gilbert Tsimi Evouna said the event was also organised to honour some individuals for their accomplishment. The event was organised at the May 20th Boulevard,

2. SOPECAM Board members meet

Board members of the Cameroon Publishing and Editing Corporation, SOPECAM, have met for an ordinary and an extraordinary session in Yaounde.

During the session, members reviewed the activities of the corporation for 2009, and set perspectives for 2010.  Deliberations were chaired by the Chairman of the Board of Directors Joseph LE.

 1. National Forestry School begins academic year

The National Forestry School in Mbalmayo has launched its 2009/2010 academic year.

The inaugural lesson focused on the importance of industrial technology and wood processing in the new curricula of the school. The solemn reopening of the 2009/2010 was chaired by the Inspector General in the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife.
