Diplomacy: Nigerian Envoy comes to Cameroon

Nigerian Foreign Minister, Ojo Maduekwe who is the country’s special envoy to President Paul Biya has been received in audience.

During the audience that took place yesterday at State House, the envoy handed a message from the acting Head of State, Goodluck Jonathan to President Paul Biya.

The close to one hour audience was an occasion for the President and his guest to examine political, social, and economic ties between Cameroon and Nigeria.

 They also discussed the prevailing governance situation in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

 At the end of the encounter, the special envoy of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to Cameroon lauded the strong relations between Cameroon and Nigeria, indicating there is no vacancy at the helm of the State of Nigeria. He indicated that the democratic institutions of Nigeria are functioning normally.
