1. North West Region awaits President Paul Biya
The North West region is actively preparing to host celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the Cameroonian Army.
Ahead of the grand event, a number of meetings are being organized to give the event the grandeur it deserves; grandeur because President Paul Biya is expected to be part of festivities.
During one of the meetings organized last week-end, the governor of the region, Abakar Ahamat called on the population to put all hands on deck to give the event a resounding success.
2. South West Region prepares for elections
Heads of councils and divisional branches of the Elections management body, Elections Cameroon met last week-end in Buea.
The meeting was organized to acquaint ELECAM officials with their missions at a time when the country prepares for upcoming elections.
During the encounter, Dr. Mrs. Dorothy Limunga Njeuma, Board Member of ELECAM, challenged the officials to strictly comply with the rules and regulations of ELECAM, in the discharge of their duties.
