2017 Cup of Cameroon: UMS of Loum at the Quaterfinals
Union des Mouvements Sportifs of Loum has moved to the quaterfinal stage of the ongoing 2017 Cup of Cameroon after beating Astres of Douala in a penalty shoot-out.
Both teams failed to concretise the scoring opportunities during the normal play time leading the game to penalty playoffs.
Other matches counting for the 8th final were ;
-Foudre of Akonolinga were thrased 3-0 by New Stars of Douala.
-New Stars used her Elite One experience to clamp down Foudre FC.
-Yaounde II FC humbled Bonaberi FC of Douala 4-2 after post match penalties
-Racing of Bafoussam on her part defeated Stade of Bandjoun 5-4 during penalty shootouts
-DAC 2000 outclassed Elite one team Eding FC of the Lekie 4-3 after post match penalties
-Feutcheu FC of Bandjoun was edged by Victoria United of Limbe 2-0
-Young Sports of Bamenda imposed her superiority over Saint Peters of Buea in 2-0 win.
The match pitting Lion Blessé FC of Foutouni and Africa Sport of Yaoundé postponed to a later date.
