2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Qualify: Lionesses ready to sail through

The National Under-20 Women Football team is in camp in view of their away leg round 2 qualifier against Sierra Leone in Freetown on 5th November 2017.

The team is devising strategies ahead of an important U-20 World Cup qualifier match that will determine their future for the 2018 U-20 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.

The 25 players in camp had their second training session this Monday 24th October 2017 at the Yaounde Annexe Stadium with emphasis on ball posession and finishing.

The players were engaged in tactical and technical abilities,ball reception and control techniques.

According to the Physical Trainer of the team,Alain Djeuma the light training is to help keep the girls in top form and prepare them for any challenge.

Some thirteen players who featured at the 2016 World Cup in Jordan looked solid and promising for a win ahead of the Sierra Leone encounter.

Players like Mpeh Bissong and Elodie Metheo say they are ready for real business and their motivation is to qualify for the 2018 U-20 World in France

On the programme schedule,the baby lionesses will play a test match with Elite two team Africa Sports of Yaounde this Wednesday 25th October 2017.
