Africa’s Most Influential Women Competition: Amy Banda raises CRTV flag
07/11/2017The Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV)’s TV presenter, Amy Banda recently received two awards from Africa’s Most Influential Women in Business and Government, a South African-based organisation.

Amy Banda stood out as both Regional (West Africa) and Country Winner of the Media Category.
The journalist who began her professional career in 2008 at LTM TV House has also worked at STV.
She is known for her bright smile, fluent tongue and beautiful style that has won the hearts of many.
Amy Banda has produced and anchored popular TV programmes including “Voice of the Voiceless” (which has earned her many awards till date), “Views, Voices and Visions” and “Monuments”, amongst others.
The exuberant lady who hails from Ndop in the North West Region of Cameroon, joined the CRTV only recently (2017) where she does reports and handles slots on some programmes on radio.
She also presented a TV holiday show on CRTV, “Holidays” and is presently the presenter of “The Artist”, another TV programme on CRTV.
Amy Banda is a stunch Baptist Christian and a Peace Activist through her online campaign, “Target Peace”.
She is proud of her CRTV production team that has been very supportive since she joined the institution.
Thirty-two-year old Amy Banda is a go-getter and gets inspiration through the words of a friend, “Tough times don’t last; tough people do”.
