CRTV News: The Princess is Born
The ” Princess” as CRTV’s Director General declared, has been born. The specialized all-news channel was officially launched this Sunday, 28th January 2018 in Yaoundé.
CRTV’s Board-chair, Issa Tchiroma presided over the launching ceremony attended by a host of government ministers and dignitaries.
Minister Tchiroma saluted the birth of the new channel and congratulated the corporations management for respecting the recommendations that were prescribed by the Board.
CRTV’s management is however expected to continue the rehabilitation of the Corporation in view of the 2018 elections and the 2019 AFCON.
The birth of the baby channel coincided with the 30th anniversary of the inauguration of the headquarters in Mballa ll on the 28th January 1988.
On the occasion, Mr Charles Ndongo, CRTV’s Director General applauded the efforts of the entire CRTV News team for a job well done.He also challenged CRTV’s younger generation to follow the successful footprints of their c predecessors.

Nine CRTV personnel received medals for valuable contributions made to the corporation.

One of the recipients, Mme Mireille Bisseck Eyouck, Director of CRTV’s New Media Division said the award is a reward for hard work.

The baby channel CRTV News, is here to stay. Cameroonians will be served spontaneous, speedy and credible news.
