Entrance into ENS Bertoua and the Faculty of Medicine of Garoua attracts many
Thousands of young Cameroonians aspiring to become teachers or medical practitioners are compiling dossiers for the competitive entrance examination into ENS Bertoua and the Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in Ngaoundere.
Some candidates are at the Ministry of Higher Education in search for information on registration formalities while others have connected to the websites of the Ministry or that of the University of Ngaoundere to follow the online procedure.
Civil administrators especially those in Bertoua and Ngaoundere have witness a sudden increase in the number of files requesting certification or application for administrative documents required for competitive entrance exams in Cameroon.
The two schools created by the Head of State in January 2018 will recruit 85 students into the Faculty of Medicine of Garoua and 250 students at the Higher Teachers Training College (ENS) of Bertoua according to a release from the Ministry of Higher Education on 11th January 2018.
The announcement was made just a few days after both institutions were created by Presidential decree. The two newly created institutions will be operational as from the 2017-2018 academic year which is scheduled to start in February 2018.
The presidential decree creating the two institutions also indicates that they are placed under administrative and academic supervision, as well as other operating methods of the faculties of the University of Ngaoundere.
Minister Jacques Fame Ndongo in the release informed potential candidates to apply or get more information through any of the two websites:

According to the communiqué from the Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Jacques Fame Ndongo the competitive entrance examinations into the Faculty of Medicine of Garoua will take place on 28th January 2018 while the entrance exam for the Higher Teachers Training College (ENS) of Bertoua will hold respectively on 30th January 2018 for the first cycle and 31st January for the second cycle.
