Ex-soccer star, George Weah to be sworn as Liberia’s President
The first African footballer to be named FIFA World Best Player, George Manneh Weah will be sworn in this Monday 22nd January 2018 as the Liberia President. ‘’King George’’ as he is often called grew up in Clara Town slum in Monrovia and went on to become the only African to win FIFA World Player of the Year, starring for Tonerre FC of Yaounde, AC Milan, Paris St Germain and Chelsea.
