International Book Day: CRTV preaches by example

The Cameroon Radio Television, CRTV and the “Les Editions Ifrikiya” are organising a long story contest in prelude to the International Book Day on 23rd April 2018.

The contest that comes up from 5th February through 15th March 2018 is organised with theme, “Raconte-moi l’Entreprise”.

It aims at stimulating and reinforcing the spirit of creativity amongst the staff of CRTV.

It is also expected that the contest will incite love for the corporation on the one hand, and amongst personnel on the other.

Restricted exclusively to the personnel of CRTV, participants have been called upon to submit a long story of not more than ten A4 pages, 12 point size, double spacing.

The story which should be written in any of the two official languages is expected to uncover the hidden talents of the staff.

Content of the literary work should ideally touch on the Cameroonian culture and way of life.

Some crucial points to be the basis for evaluation shall include respect of professional ethics, originality, language and close focus on the theme.

The final copies must be submitted latest 15th March 2018 at 3:30pm either by:

– Email to aabdoulkardi@yahoo.fr or editionsifrikiya@yahoo.fr in PDF or Word format alongside the writer’s biography and coloured passport size photograph, or

– Sealed mail to the Human Resource Department of the CRTV Production Centre at Mballa 2 or at Editions Ifrikiya.

All participants shall be issued an attestation of participation signed by CRTV and Edition Ifrikiya.

The best five contestants of the International Book Day competition will receive:
