Calling the Women

On the eve of celebrations marking the Commonwealth Day,  the programme calling the women looks at the theme institution’s promotion of women’s rights

Did you know the Commonwealth works to advance gender equality and women’s empowerment in all social, economic and political spheres?

It provides technical assistance to member countries to support skills training and capacity building initiatives, monitoring and evaluation.

It also promotes high level advocacy, research and knowledge generation and lead the way for building consensus on key global gender priorities for the Commonwealth.
