June Cabinet Meeting: Government Ministers to discuss public contracts reforms
The cabinet meeting for the month of June will take place this Thursday, 28th June 2018 which is the last Thursday of the month.
The meeting that will be presided over by the Prime Minister, Head of Government Philemon Yang will be attended by the Vice President, cabinet Ministers, Ministers Delegate, Secretaries of State and other state dignitaries ranking as such.
The monthly coordination meeting that evaluates government action and gives strategic orientations will feature two major presentations.
The first presentation will be on the innovations induced by the reforms of the statutes of enterprises and public institutions. The presentation will be done by the Minister of Finance, Louis Paul Motaze.
The second expose will focus on the common rules applicable for public contracts issued by public enterprises. It will be presented by the Minister of Public Contracts, Abba Sadou.
At the end the Presentations, The Prime Minster – Head of Government, Philemon Yang will outline government strategic orientation to the respective domains.
The meeting shall be sanctioned by a final press release that will summarise major issues discussed during the cabinet meeting.
