2018 Presidential Election: CPDM women plan campaign strategy

The Women’s wing of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement WCPDM, have met in Yaoundé.

The meeting is to map out campaign strategies for the 7th October presidential election.

The meeting chaired by the Secretary General of the CPDM Jean Nkuete elaborated concrete campaign plans for a resounding victory for their candidate Paul Biya.

After deliberations, the WCPDM amongst other resolutions resolved to organise capacity building workshops in different party sections.

Committees were created to examine pending issues that could affect the smooth functioning of the party during the election period.

Another committee was created to assist victims of the ongoing socio political crisis in the North West and South West regions.

The national president of the women’s wing of the party Yaou Aïssatou called on the women to galvanise support for sisters and daughters in the area of crisis, enjoining all to support government’s efforts to bring an end to the crisis.

The women reiterated their steadfast and unflinching support for their candidate Paul Biya promising him a landslide victory.

Another CPDM bigwig Bidoung Kpwatt lauded the great strides of the women and saluted the initiative promising to assist them in their endeavour.

The closing ceremony was attended by Jacque Fame Ndongo, the communication Secretary of the party.
