2019 January Cabinet reshuffle: Gabriel Dodo Ndoko, the man with many hats

His Excellency Gabriel Dodo Ndoke is the new Minister of Mines, Industries and Technological Development.

He is amongst the sixteen new ministers appointed by President Paul Biya this Friday 4th January 2019 into his new look government.

Gabriel Dodo Ndoke : Personal Profile

The New Minister of Mines, Industries and Technological Development was born on 13th November 1971 in Mokolo, Kadey Division in the East region.

He is a native of the Wantamo village in the East.

The senior Tax Inspector and the administrator is a father of seven.

Educational Background

1992: Baccalaureate A4, Government Bilingual High School Batouri.

1991: Probatoire A4, Government Bilingual High School Batouri.

1990: BEPC, Government Bilingual High School Batouri.

1984: CEPE , St Martin Catholic School Batouri.

1997: Bachelor of Sciences in General Francophone Private Law, University of Yaounde II.

2000: Masters in General Private Law, University of Yaounde II.

2007: Higher Diploma with Specialty in Fiscal Administration, University of Douala.

2010: Diplôme D’Etudes Approfondies (DEA) en Driot des Affaires, University of Douala

 

Professional Studies

1998-2000: Major in Youth and Animation, National Institute of Youth and Sports, INJS

2002: Diploma, Tax Inspector at ENAM.

Professional Career

July 2002: Integrated as a Tax Inspector.

2002-2003: Inspector and specialised verifier at East Provincial Brigade.

2003-2005: Service Head at the Bertoua specialized tax unit.

2005-2007: Chief of the Centre at the Douala 14 Tax Unit.

2007-2008: Inspector at the Centre regional taxation.

2008-2011: Inspector and specialized tax verification agent at the Mfoundi Division.

2011-2012: Sub-director of Budget, Material and Maintenance at the Ministry of Public Service and Administrative Reforms.

From 2013 to 4th January 2019, the new Minister was on active service as the Director of Administration and Financial Affairs at the Chamber of Agriculture, Fisheries, Livestock and Forest reserves.

Politically, the Senior Tax Inspector and Administrator is a member of the ruling Cameroon Peoples Democratic Movement, the CPDM.

In the social aspect, the new Minister of Mines is member of many social groups and the present National President of the Association of Students from the East region.
