A marmot crowd has witnessed the installation of the newly appointed Minister Delegate at the Ministry of Justice, Barrister Jean De Dieu Momo.
The brief installation ceremony by the new Prime Minister, Head of Government this Monday 6th January 2019 was full of colour and sound.
The diverse crowds made up of family members, friends, traditional dance groups and came out strongly to observe the installation described by many as a controversial figure.
In very firm instructions, His Excellency Chief Dr. Joseph Dion Ngute ask the new Minister Delegate and Keeper of the Seals to be assiduous and professional as he takes up office.
To the Minister of State, Minister of Justice, Keeper of Seals, Laurent Esso who maintained his position, the PM congratulated him and asked the Justice Minister to use his rich experiences for the growth of the judiciary in the country.
Out of the Ministerial building, several tradition dance groups from the West region, region of origin of the New Minister Delegate shared their happiness in cheers and dances.
The immense joy was portrayed through the happy looking faces and the exchange of hugs between the well-wishers and the new Minister Delegate.
The same atmosphere could be noticed at the court yard of the Ministry of Basic that welcomed the new Education boss, Laurent Serge Etoudi Ngoa and his Secretary of State, Dr. Asheri Kilo Viviane.
Briefly, the Prime Minister extended best wishes of the Head of State to the outgoing Minister of Basic Education, Youssouf Adidja Alim.
To the new team made of Professor Laurent Serge Etoudi and the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Basic Education, Dr Asheri Kilo, the PM exhorted them to earn the trust of the Head of State in exercising their duties
At every instance the PM called for team spirit, commitment and positive attitude.
The new Minister of Basic Education and his Secretary of State were amongst the sixteen new members of government appointed on Friday 4th January 2019 by the President of the Republic, Paul Biya.
