Minpmeesa and Mincom begin work in earnest

Prime Minister, Head of Government, Dion Ngute has installed the new Minister of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts (MINPMEESA) and that of Communication (MINCOM).

The separate installations took place this Monday 7th January 2019.

The new MINPMESSA boss, Bassilekin III Achille was installed at the Ministry’s conference room located within the Emergence Building which hosts some services of the Ministry in Yaounde.

A mammoth crowd turned out for the brief ceremony and could not hold back their excitement as the Head of Government declared Bassilekin III Achille installed into function.

The outgoing Minister, Laurent Serge Etoundi Ngoa was present to pass on the baton of command to the new Minister.

Over at the Ministry of Communication, the hall at the entrance to the head office served as venue for the installation ceremony.

Outgoing Communication Minister, Issa Tchiroma Bakary answered present to handover to incoming Minister, Rene Emmanuel Sadi.

As has been the case at the other installations of the day, wide excitement was expressed as Prime Minister, Dion Ngute declared Rene Emmanuel Sadi installed.

A brief meeting with staff followed after the installation ceremony.

The Staff Representative of MINCOM welcomed the new Minister and wished him well as he exercises his duty.

Minister Rene Emmanuel Sadi then took to the rostrum to thank the staff for the warm welcome.

He also used the forum to remind them of the Ministry of Communication’s duty to inform and correct information.

He concluded with a call on all to put hands on deck towards achieving success.

Staff and family members then took turns to shake hands with the new boss.

Staff of the Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV), led by their Director General, Charles Ndongo were present to welcome the new Communication Minister who is also the new Board Chair of the CRTV.

After the handshaking session, the Communication Minister, Rene Emmanuel Sadi moved up to the Conference Room of the Ministry for a working session with close collaborators.
