2019 Elite Two Championship : Day-1 as it happened
Day-1 games of the 2019 ongoing Elite two Championship have been completely fielded across the national territory.
The season opener saw Panthere of Nde whitewashed Canon Football Club of Yaounde 1-0 on Saturday 2nd February 2019 at the Yaounde Military Stadium.
Other league two matches played this Tuesday 5th February 2019 were recorded as follows
Newcomers AS Fap thrashed AS Matelo of Yaounde by three goals to nil.
Visiting Bamboutos of Mbouda held to a goales game by another newcomer Leopard of Douala at the Edea Municipal Stadium.
Debutants, Ocean Football Training Academy, OFTA beat Aigle Royale of the Menoua by two goals to one in the seaside resort town of Kribi.
Racine of Bafoussam and Lion Blessé of Foutuni separated on a one all tie.
Renaisance of Ngoumou edged YAFOOT three goals to one.
In the meantime, the match pitting Dynamo FC and Etoa Meki was not fielded owing to the abscence of player licence in the Etoa Meki’s camp.
In response the homologation commitee of the Professional Football League declared Dynamo FC winners by default.
Day-2 games of the ongoing League two will be played at the weekend of 9 and 10 February 2019.
