CRTV : Two awards presented during New Year wishes ceremony

The personnel of the Cameroon Radio Television have extended best wishes of the Director General, Charles Ndongo and his deputy Emmanuel Wongibe.

The ceremony that took place at the CRTV Audiovisual Heritage Training and Conservation Institute at Ekounou, Yaounde.

CRTV Director General congratulated two workers whose outstanding job has earned two prizes for the corporation, Serge Pouth, journalist at the National Radio and Mirriel Bisseck Head of New Media Department.

During the event, some 40 retirees were also recognized for their outstanding services to the corporation.

The management of CRTV Audiovisual Heritage Training and Conservation Institute at Ekounou, Yaounde welcomed the top management team of the CRTV to the institution with a traditional cake, “Egusi Pudding” and palm wine, a delicacy in the Centre region.

The CRTV Director of Human Resources and Social Strategy, Dr Aboulkadri made a review of the year 2018 before making projections for 2019.

The Director General called on the staff to maintain the good record of 2018 and do even better in 2019.

He said as CRTV looks forward to celebrating the International Radio day, each of CRTV’s 18 stations have to be a star in their area of broadcast.

He also described CRTV as the largest network of radio channels in Africa.

The CRTV orchestra spiced the event with bars of music.
