Cameroon Business Forum ends with major recommendations
The 10th edition of the Cameroon Business Forum has ended in the country’s economic capital, Douala.
The Prime Minister – Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute reaffirmed government’s determination to set up an enabling environment to favour private sector investments.
During the event, the Chamber of Commerce and the Association of Cameroonian Entrepreneurs had common stance of the challenges the impede the takeoff of private sector investments.
They expect government to simplify the procedures, Guarantee security and adjust the calendars.
The entrepreneurs explained that it was important for government to set a period between June and August for concerned Ministries to handle their worries.
During the 10th year of the Cameroon Business Forum described as a transition period, the Minister announced the putting in place of a multi-sectoral technical committee to follow up and monitoring of the level of implementation of the recommendations of the Forum.
The PM also saluted the rich and fruitful discussions that will contribute to the emergence of the economy of Cameroon.
The attractiveness of the economic environment were also described as indispensable for sustainable development and the boost of the local economy.
