President Paul Biya launches programme to support University Graduates start enterprises
President Paul Biya has once again expressed his determination to empower the youths especially university graduates.
After donating five hundred thousand computers, recruiting twenty thousand graduates and constructing modern multimedia centres in Universities, he has now launched a program to help graduates create enterprises.
The Presidential programme to support the employability of youths who have graduated from Higher Education Institutions in Cameroon to create enterprises was made public in a press release signed by the Minister of Higher Education.
It is part of the new university Governance programme which seeks the assurance of quality, professionalization, and employability of university graduates.
The press release of November 4, 2019, indicated that on instructions of the President of the Republic, Paul Biya and under the supervision of the Prime Minister Head of Government,
The Presidential Programme for the support of the Employability of young university graduates for the creation of Enterprises, PRO PAEJ has been launched.
The program accompanies young Cameroonian graduates in the creation and management of enterprises with enormous potentials of decent jobs.
It will be coordinated by the studies, planning and statistics division of the Ministry of Higher Education.
Benefits of the program
The eligible beneficiaries of the program will obtain;
– Financing of projects
– Marketing of their activities
– Help in installation
– Provision of equipments
Technical, legal and administrative assistance
How to constitute files
According to the release university graduates are expected to provide the following documents in their dossier;
– A file describing the project, downloadable from the website of MINESUP www.minesup.gov.cm
– An administrative dossier of the project
– A certified true copied of university diploma
– A certified true copied of birth certificate
– Non conviction, extract of Bulletin no 3 dated no more than three months
– A curriculum vitae.

– A Tax payer’s card
For those with income generating activities
All justifying documents
For those with a project idea
-A Project for the creation of an enterprise
Complete dossiers should be sent electronically to Propaej@minesup.gov.cm or at door number 1636 the 16th floor of the Ministry of Higher Education before the 3:30pm on November 15, 2019 deadline.
By introducing the program, Cameroon has joined other emerging economies in a path to foster growth through the creativity of its youths.
