Three High Level African Leaders At The Unity Palace in Yaounde
President Paul Biya has granted a joint audience to the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Moussa FAKI MAHAMAT; The Secretary General of the Francophonie International Organization, Louise MUSHIKIWABO; and the Secretary General of the Commonwealth of Nations, Patricia SCOTLAND.
During the joint audience with President Paul Biya, the three high level African leaders discussed the ongoing crisis prevailing in the two English speaking regions of the North West and South West regions.

While recognizing efforts made by President Biya’s Government to restore peace and the return of economic activities in those regions, the three high ranking African officials all expressed the desire of their respective institutions support, to help Cameroon come out of the deadlock. “Cameroon does not merit violence”, they mentioned.

It is therefore up-to the will of all Cameroonians to restore peace, security and meet their aspirations for a better and prosperous country. Multilateral organizations cannot produce miracles, even though they are willing to help, they emphasized. The over one hour discussions ended with the exchange of gifts by President Paul Biya Of Cameroon and his guests.
