CONAC launches integrity campaign in schools
The Cameroon National Anti Corruption Commission has undertaken an integrity tour of four schools in the nation’s capital to sensitise youths on the dangers of corruption.
The CONAC Integrity Tour dedicated was part of activities to mark the 2019 edition of the International Day for the fight against corruption.
The four schools visited include two primary; Government Bilingual School Bastos and Government Bilingual School Administrative Centre and two secondary; Charles Atangana Technical College and the Government High School (Lycée de Tsinga).
At each of the schools, the chairman of the National Anti Corruption Commission, Rev Dr Dieudonne Massi Gams quizzed pupils and students on their understanding of corruption, integrity and the CONAC.
Prizes comprising Tee shirts and caps were offered to pupils and students who gave correct answers.
The CONAC boss emphasised on integrity which is an essential ingredient to fight against corruption.
The sensitisation and education on integrity among youths in schools ended with a press briefing granted by CONAC Chairman.
