2020 World Cup Qualifiers:U-17 lionesses whitewash Sao Tome, 6-0
The girls of Stephane Ndzana had an easy ride to the next round after beating Sao Tome and Principe 6-0 in a return leg game This saturday 15 march in Yaounde.
The baby lionesses of Cameroon will face Uganda in round three of qualifiers for the world cup in India this.
The lionesses scored three goals in the first half and three others in the second.
Brenda Tabe who is so far second best player of the women’s league netted two of the six goals.
Keeper Michaelie Ines scored one of the goals from penalty spot. Larissa Elive who is a product of the National Football Accademy Anafoot joined the line of scorers with a goal.
A great satisfaction for her “I am very very happy that we won and that i scored a goal. All Cameroonians should celebrate with us.our training was not in vain, i hope I didnt fail you guys.we will go and prepare for the next round”.
Brenda Tabe who has three goals to her credit in two outings has a slight disatisfaction with the result ” I think we could have done better,we missed so many opportunities.I would have loved to score more than two goals.”
Other players who concretised their shots to the pole arr captain Elise Ndome and Suzie Mbianji.
Cameroon total 10 goals in the two legged encounter against Sao Tome who scored no goal.
