#Elecam: Electoral Board Holds Midterm Evaluation
The Electoral Board of elections Cameroon has held its second ordinary session for the year 2020 at the Yaoundé Multi Sports Complex.
The session chaired by the Chairman of the Electoral Board, Enow Abrams Egbe, focused on evaluating voter registration since three months ago and make projections ahead of future elections.
The Board chair reminded Elecam board members and personnel to remain vigilant with regards to the respect of barrier measures imposed by government to check the spread of the Novel Corona Virus.
The board then examined the registration rate in all 360 branches for the last three months since registration was reopened in April.
The administrative and financial accounts of the structure was also scrutinized.
Projection For Future Elections
The General Directorate of Elections made an assessment of their preparation for up coming regional elections.
The Director General of Elections, Erik Essousse indicated that they are drawing up electoral registers for the double college comprising municipal councillors and traditional rulers.
The session also examined and adopted the report of the field trip carried out by board members.
