2020 Baccalaureat Exams Kick Starts Nation Wide.

 

Candidates who registered for the Baccalaureat General Exams in Cameroon effectively started writing this morning. Barrier Measures prescribed by government were respected in all the writing Centres.

At Government High School Anguissa Sub-Centre in Yaounde, 906 Candidates answered present this morning while 21 were absent.

Here sanitary measures were followed to the letter from the entrance of the School Campus to the examination halls.
Candidates were checked at the entrance by police men, their temperatures taken by nurses, and were obliged to wash their hands.

At 8:00 am the candidates, began writing the first subject of the day.

24 students were allowed in each class and were seated one per bench so as to respect social distancing.The candidates were also obliged to wear their face masks in the examination halls.

Those of the Baccalaureate A4 and D series wrote literature, French language, Sports and physical education .

For the Sciences series they wrote Philosophy.
This first day, according to some students was manageable.

“The questions asked in all the subjects I wrote today were not really difficult and I’m sure to make it at the end”

According to the Principal of G.H.S Anguisssa, Jean Blaise Belibi Eyebe, the first day unfolded hitch free and wish it will continue as such till the end of the exams.
