The President of the Cameroon Football Federation, Seidou Mbombo Njoya has announced the imminent completion of construction works at the Bertoua Municipal Stadium.
In the company of the East regional delegate of the League games, Baninga Charles and FECAFOOT representative in the region, the FECAFOOT main man visited the stadium to evaluate the progress of work.
This was during a working visit in the region marked by discussions with actors and stakeholders in the football sector in the East Region of Cameroon.
The visit which falls in line with a nationwide tour by the FECAFOOT President was a platform for seidou Mbombo Njoya to draft a plan with his stakeholders on the best ways of developing football in the region.
The football experts discussed on the possible funding opportunities as a means to help boost amateur and local football in the East.
Seidou Mbombo Njoya also paid a courtesy visit to the Senior Divisional Officer of the Lom and Djerem, Yves Bertrand Awounfac to thank him on the role he played in the organisation and success of the 2019 Interpools.
The FECAFOOT boss was also received by the Governor of the East Region Gregoire Mvongo, both personalities exchanged on the development of football facilities and infrastructure in the region.
