Higher Education: Solemn Reopening For Professional Schools

The 2020-2021 academic year has begun in professional schools in Cameroon. The solemn reopening took place this Friday October 23, 2020. At the Protestant University of Central Africa (UPAC) the target is for a successful training despite COVID-19 this year.

At UPAC just like in other professional schools in Cameroon amphitheatres have been opened for lectures after a long vacation due to the health crisis.
School authorities have taken measures for a smooth academic year.
The target of all the professional schools this year is to have a successful training and give their students quality training despite the corona virus pandemic.

During the solemn reopening at UPAC, the Rector of the institution Rev. Bouba Mbima enjoined the students to uphold the values of living together while strictly respecting covid19 barrier measures.

Attended by a cross section of the student population, it was also occasion for the confering of doctorate degrees to some lecturers.

Prayers of intercession were said for God to guide and protect the students and lectures in their respective endeavours.

The students were happy to resume lessons after staying at home because of COVID-19.
New students on their part had the privilege to visit the entire campus after the ceremony presided by the Rector
