Cameroon International Cycling Tour: All Ten Invited Teams Confirm Participation for 17th Edition

All the ten international teams invited to participate in the 17th edition of the Cameroon  International Cycling Tour have confirmed their participation.

The teams are expected to land in Cameroon this Thursday 27 May 2021.

The different participating teams will be presented to the public this Friday 29 May at the esplanade of the Mfandena stadium where the opening ceremony of the cycling tour will be hosted.

The international commissioner of the Union international Cyclists, Max Michaud will also arrive Cameroon this May 27.  He is accompanied by Nicolas Philippon who will be in charge of finish line photos.

Cameroon’s cycling federation confirms that all necessary preparations have been made for the competition to kickoff hitch free.

In a preparatory meeting held on May 25 2021, chaired by the President of the federation, Honoré Yossi, works carried out by the different committees were evaluated.

The technical, logistics, medical, transport, accommodation, catering, security, protocol, animation, communication and many other committees all presented a solid report to the degree of their preparation.

Day 1, of the 17th edition of the Cameroon International Cycling Tour is going to take place on Saturday May 29 from Yaoundé to Ayos. The tour ends on June 6 2021.
