The President of The United Councils and Cities of Cameroon; Augustin Tamba says the Association will organise an international economic forum in December 2021 to promote the potentials of councils and attract investors.
He was speaking in Yaounde shortly after leading a delegation of The United Councils and Cities of Cameroon to an audience with Prime minister – Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute.
The delegation from the United Council and Cities of Cameroon received by Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute this Wednesday September 15, 2021 also included the vice president Dighambong Anthony MVO and other executive members.
One of the executive members at the audience, the Mayor of Kumba City Council, Gregory Mewanu told the press that is the main topic discussed with the Prime Minister was the international Economic forum which the association is preparing to organise in December.
Their discussions also touched on the financing of council activities in Cameroon. At the end of the session, members of the delegation expressed delight with the reassurances provided by the Prime Minister.
