Diplomacy: Chad Solicits Cameroon Support for Chadian vying for Secretary General of CAMESS
Prime Minister – Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute has on behalf of the President of the Republic granted an audience to the Chadian Minister of Finance and The Budget.
Minister Tahir Hamid Nguilin special envoy of the Chadian President, Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno was bearer of a sealed envelope from the Chadian President to his Cameroonian counterpart Paul Biya.
The Chadian Minister revealed to the press that the essence of the sealed message is to solicit the support of Cameroon for the Chadian candidate vying for the post of Secretary General of The African and Malagasy Council of Higher Education – CAMESS.
He said the Chadian candidate who is a professor of Mathematics has the profile required for the post and that his country is counting on the support of Cameroon to win the post.
The Chadian minister added that he also discussed on the state of the rich and longstanding relations which Cameroon and Chad during the audience with the Prime Minister.
