Indomitable Lions: Rigobert Song Appointed Head Coach

Former Indomitable Lions, Captain Rigobert Song has been appointed as the new head Coach of the senior male National Football team of Cameroon, the Indomitable Lions. He takes over from Antonio Conceicao Oliveira who won a bronze medal with the team at the AFCON2021

He was appointed this Monday February 28, 2022 on the esteemed instructions of the President of the Republic by the Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Prof Narcisse Moulle Kombi.

The appointment was made shortly after the Cameroon football Federation, FECAFOOT terminated the contract of Portuguese born Antonio Conceicao and thanked him for his service to the Senior Male National Football team.

The technical been of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon was completely overhauled bringing in a new seven man team to take the squad to the World Cup qualifiers scheduled for March.

The new technical bench of the Indomitable Lions is composed of;
Head Coach: Song Rigobert
Deputy Head Coach: Migne Sebastien
Team Manager: Kalla Raymond
Assistant coach: Simo Augustine
Goalkeeper Trainer: Souleymanou
Physical Trainer: Fevre Raphael
Video Analyst: Baltaze David

In a release from the Minister of Sports containing names of the appointees, the Cameroon Football Federation was called upon to take the necessary disposition to ensure that the indomitable lions get into the best possible conditions ahead of their important sporting rendezvous.
