Public Administration: 40 S.D.Os and D.Os get New Vehicles
The Minister of Territorial Administration, Paul Atanga Nji has handed over the keys of 40 service vehicles to administrative authorities.
He said the equipment attributed on the instructions of the Head of State seeks to improve the mobility of Senior Divisional officers and Divisional Officers in their respective areas of command. The vehicles that constitute pickup trucks, Corolla cars and four wheel drive Futunas constitute a first wave of attribution, the Minister said.
He reminded the civil administrators of their role in ensure peace and order, consequently requiring close and permanent consultations with the population.
He also told them to handle the brand new vehicles with care as they constitute their career vehicles. He give hinted them on the manufacturer maintenance tips.
The beneficiaries saluted the gesture of the Head of state describing it as timely.
Vichy Ebella Ngambi, Divisional Officer of Bikok beneficiary of one of the 40 service vehicles distributed to administrative authorities expresses gratitude for the working tool that will help her get closer to her population in her subdivision that is yet to have tarred roads.
The keys of the band new vehicles were handed over at the esplanade of the Yaounde City Council after a test drive by the Minister of Territorial Administration.
