2022 Examination Session : Stakeholders Conclude Preparations
All is almost set for the 2022 official examination session in the secondary education sector of Cameroon.
The Minister of Secondary Education, Prof Nalova Lyonga made this announcement this May 10, 2022 at the end of an evaluation meeting with stakeholders.
“The three departments in charge of examinations are ready for the exams,” the Minister declared.
Significant Increase in Registered Candidates
Statistics reveal an increase in the number of candidates registered for the examinations.
Over 182.000 students have registered for the GCE Advanced and Ordinary Level, a significant increase from just over 170.000 in 2021.
Records from Office du Baccalaureate on their part indicate that over 438,000 candidates have registered for the 2022 session of the exam.
Finishing Touches ahead of Examinations
Today’s discussion also centred on rectifying issues related to the printing presses to print examination material.
Minister Nalova Lyonga used the forum to call on all teachers to go to class since the Head of State is attending to their problems.
The meeting ended with everyone optimistic about a successful unfolding of the 2022 session of official examinations in the country.
