2022 SAGO: An Edition like No Other

The Promoter of the 11th edition of the Government Action Fair, SAGO, Patrice Assiga says this edition is the best so far.

Patrice Assiga made this statement at the end of the fair this July 1, 2022.

During the ceremony to draw the curtains on the event, the Promoter lauded his team and exhibitors who answered present.

Balancesheet of 11th Edition of SAGO

The Promoter of the Government Action Fair indicates that 172 exhibitors occupied stands at the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex.

He added that 16 conferences took place with all being streamed live on CRTV News.

Furthermore, over 83.000 visitors stopped over at the SAGO village. This number of course, does not include the audience reached by TV and radio broadcast.

MINFOPRA Carries the Day

The Ministry of Public Service and Administrative Reforms, those championing the 2020 SAGO did emerge as champions!

While the Ministry bagged home the prize of the most visited stand, Minister Joseph LE received a special prize from the Organising Committee.

This prize was given to appreciate the Minister for his complete implication in the activities at the Government Action Fair.

The MINFOPRA Boss was present and active at the fair grounds, visiting other stands as well.

He also took time to discuss with the Organising Committee and ensure all was going on as planned.

The Promoter of SAGO, Patrice Assiga emphasised that this is the first time a Minister is fully involved in SAGO.

On his part, Minister Joseph LE congratulated his personnel for their commitment and teamwork which led to the sucess of their participation at the fair.

He also used the forum to call on other Ministries and institutions to venture into SAGO like MINFOPRA did this year, for its first time.

CRTV, CONSUPE, SONARA and Douala Urban Council Recognised

Apart from the Ministry of Public Service and Administrative Reforms, other institutions also received prizes at the closing ceremony.

The Supreme State Audit Office (CONSUPE) went home with the Best Public Conference prize meanwhile SONARA was awarded the Fidelity to SAGO prize.

As for Best Media Deployment, the Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV) bagged it.

All the way from Douala, the Douala Urban Council was awarded the prize of Best Deployment of a Decentralised Territorial Authority.

The closing ceremony of the 2022 Government Action Fair ended with all taking the rendezvous for 2023.
