Cameroon: Traffickers of Human Skeleton Arrested
A gang of four has been arrested for traffic of human bones.
The group was picked up in Yaounde while they were seeking to sell the skeleton.
They have been presented to the press in Yaounde by the head of the special bureau for research and criminal investigation, Captain Bobodji Bello.
The brain behind the gang, a school dropout, working with a commercial biker, a petite trader and a ex student dreamt of having fast cashing through the trafficking of human skeleton.
Intelligence service of the National Gendarmerie was however on their tracks.
On the night of Friday August 12 breaking Saturday August 13, the four men were arrested with the bones as they sort to get a buyer.
The group told security services that a skeleton was gotten from a desecrated grave in the Far North Region and the bones were at the Madagascar residence of the group leader.
The head of the head of the special bureau for research and criminal investigation, Captain Bobodji Bello who lead operations leading to their arrest said the Gendarmerie is permanently on the watch.
The suspects will be forwarded to the competent courts to answer to their crimes.
