Cameroon’s Prime Minister At Queen Elizabeth’s Funeral

Prime Minister – Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute, who is representing President Paul Biya at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth the Second, has joined thousands of persons and scores of personalities to view the casket of the queen which has been lying in state at Westminster Hall.

The Head of Government also signed the condolence book for the queen at Lancaster Hall.

He also reaffirmed that his presence at the Queen’s funeral is not a mere formality. Joseph Dion Ngute says his participation is an expression of respect for the cordial relations which binds Cameroon and The UK and the warm collaboration that exist between Cameroon and The British throne.

Prime Minister – Head of government, Joseph Dion Ngute who arrived at the Heathrow international airport at 10 o’clock on Saturday morning, in London to represent President Paul Biya at the official funeral of the Queen of England; Elizabeth II who died September 8, 2022.

The PM is heading a delegation which also includes the Minister Delegate in the Ministry of External Relations in charge of relations with the Commonwealth; Felix Mbayu.

This Sunday, 24 hours to the Queen’s official funeral, the Prime Minister joined thousands of persons and hundreds of personalities to pay hommage to the departed monarch as she lay in state at Westminster Hall.

Prime Minister – Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute equally signed the condolence book opened in Lancaster house upon announcement of the queen’s death.

Cameroon’s Representative, Joseph Dion Ngute also took part in a reception organised by King Charles III this Sunday.

The high point of his visit will take place this Monday, when he represents President Paul Biya at the official funeral for Queen Elizabeth II, the world’s longest serving monarch.
