Coton Sport of Garoua log horns with Bamboutos of Mbouda

On the esteemed instructions of the President of the Republic Paul Biya, the Prime Minister Head of Government, Chief Doctor Joseph Dion Ngute, will preside over activities to mark the end of the sporting season coupled with the final of the football cup of Cameroon between Bamboutos Football Club of Mbouda and Coton Sport of Garoua.
The ceremony takes place on Sunday October 2, 2022, at the Amadou Ahidjo stadium in Yaounde.

Chantal Biya held talks with the gynaecological endoscopic delegation

The Cameroon’s first lady, Chantal Biya granted audience on September 30, 2022, to a delegation of renowned scientists, specialised in endoscopic surgery at the unity palace.

The 10-man delegation in Cameroon for the second International Congress in gynaecological endoscopic surgery was led by the president of the African Society for Gynaecological Endoscopic, Prof Jean_ Marie Kasia, committee chair of the local organising committee of the congress.

Cameroon commemorate International Day of Elderly Persons

The Minister of Social Affairs, Pauline Irène Nguene, will today October 1, 2022, preside over the celebration of the 32nd edition of the International Day of Elderly Persons.
The ceremony which takes place at the esplanade of the Ministry of Social Affairs begins 9:30am.

CAMWATER: New DG appointed

48-year old Moussa Blaise is the new Director General of the Cameroon Water Utilities Corporation (CAMWATER), while 42 years old NGO Njiki Joseline Alice is the Deputy Director General of the company.

They were designated yesterday September 30, 2022 following an extraordinary board meeting of CAMWATER in Douala, the economic capital of Cameroon.
The Minister of Water Resources and Energy, Gaston Eloundou Essomba has tasked the new management team to ensure good quality and a steady quantity water supply to households in Cameroon.
