Dixiade Resumes: 10 Sports Disciplines from 10 Regions in 10 Days
The National Olympic games of Cameroon have resumed after two years of interruption due to the COVID19 pandemic.
The 2022 edition will be played in the North Regional capital, Garoua.
Athletes from all ten regions of the country will compete in ten different sports disciplines from December 12 to 22, 2022 according to the program publish by the National Olympic Committee.
Ten Sports Disciplines
The athletes will compete in ten Disciplines including:
Athletics
Badminton
Basketball
Boxing
Football
Weightlifting
Handball
Judo
Wrestling
Volleyball
Group and individual sporting events will take place in six different sites in Garoua including:
– Roumde Adja stadium
– CENAJES Gymnasium
– Garoua Youth Cultural Centre
– Hotel Ribadou
– Carrefour YELWA
– Parc Boisé
The annual Sports event is organised by the National Olympic Committee at the end of the calendar year.
It seeks to promote Olympic values of fair play among youths and identify budding talents.
