Regional News: Official Exams Kickoff after Hitch-free Celebrations of National Day
Some students of the French subsystem of education have begun taking official end of year exams.
The examinations started this Monday, May 22, 2023 nationwide on the heels of a hitch-free celebration of the National Day.
Adamawa: Three Exams Get Underway in Technical Education
More than 200 students are sitting in for Baccalaureat BTSTT, Baccalaureat BT industriel as well as Probatoire BT industriel at Government Bilingual Technical High School Ngaounderé, counting for the 2023 examination session.
The exercise is said to be unfolding smoothly as no incident has been recorded so far.
Secondary education authorities in the region made rounds to the writing centres to ensure the smooth unfolding of the exams.

Municipal Councillors in Meyomessala have examined and approved the council’s 2022 administrative and management accounts.
These funds amounting to over one billion CFAF were adopted during an ordinary council session presided over by the Mayor of Meyomessala, Christian Mebiame, in the presence of the Senior Divisional Officer for Dja and Lobo, Damien Owono.

Biodiversity in the Far North Region in National Parks and other biosphere reserves is being threatened by wildlife traffickers and wood dealers.
To check this phenomenon, the Minister of Forestry and Wildlife, Jules Doret Ndongo has offered new equipment to Eco guards engaged in biodiversity conservation.
West: CPDM Mobilisation in Bangangte on National Day
During the 20th May civilian parade in Bangangte, the participation of several political parties testified of their commitment to a united and indivisible Cameroon.

The celebration of national unity went on hitch-free in Edea, with the organisers ensuring strict order in the programme.
A huge civilian crowd joined the military in the May 20 parade to celebrate the day.
The Senior Divisional Officer for the Sanaga Maritime Division, Cyrille Yvan Abondo, used the occasion to hail their partners who contributed to the success of preceding activities.
