Military Trainees from 26 Countries Thrilled by CRTV’s Infrastructure and Expertise
A delegation of sixty senior military officers on training at the International War College of Cameroon in Simbock, Yaounde have been drilled on techniques of production of broadcast of audiovisual content on CRTV radio and television.
This was during a study visit to the CRTV by trainees under the supervision of the Commander of the institution, Brigadier General Nka Valere. The delegation was received at the CRTV by the Central Director for Television, Ibrahim Cherif on behalf of the Director General of the corporation.
The 18th batch of trainees at the International War College of Cameroon began their visit at CRTV production Centre at Mballa 2 in Yaounde at 1PM.
The delegation composed was senior military officers from 26 countries including France and Cameroon.
They were give a guided tour of CRTV transmission and broadcast equipments as well as TV production studios. They later had a working session with officials of the corporation under the supervision of the Central Director for Television, Ibrahim Cherif representing the Director General of the corporation.
The delegation lead by Brigadier General Nka Valere, Commander of the War College preceded to the National Radio Station in Nlongkak, Yaounde were they had an explanation on the workings of the radio house.
The visit that comes after 10 and half months into their 11 months training is part of the course offered at the school.
Discussions between the visiting delegation from the War College and CRTV officials focused on the theme: “Synergy between the media and defence forces”
The delegation also visited the International Broadcasting Centre of the CRTV with its ultramodern equipments.
