SAGO 2023: Government Showcases Its Infrastructural Progress

Infrastructural development is at the spotlight of the 12th edition of the ongoing Government Action Fair dubbed SAGO at the Yaoundé Multipurpose Sports Complex. 

The eight days event was officially opened this Monday July 24, by the Minister of Communication, Rene Emmanuel Sadi, representative of the Prime Minister Head of Government. 

Over two hundred stands are at the SAGO 2023 grounds exhibiting products and services. 

The minister of Communication has called on the public to pay a visit at the fair grounds to gain familiarity with what government is doing to improve the living standards of Cameroonians. 

Rene Emmanuel Sadi stated the objectives of the fair which include; To popularize national public policies, generate public support for government actions, implementing the national inclusion policy and strengthen the synergy of government actions. 

He emphasized on the importance of this year’s theme, “Infrastructure development and structural transformation of Cameroon’s economy,” stating that the infrastructural prowess of the country needs to be harnessed in order to get to emergence. 

The Minister of Public Works set the ball rolling on the series of presentations that will hold at the Government Action Fair in Yaounde. 

Emmanuel Ngamou Djoumessi presented some progress made in road infrastructure and also highlighted projects under the National Development Strategy plan, the SND30 already executed and mentioned sections still in progress. 

Over the next eight days, conferences on different themes will organized at the SAGO venue to edify the public more on government actions.
