AFCON 2023: Indomitable Lions engage First Open Door Training session

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon have worked on ball control, accuracy of passes and other physical workouts during their first training session opened to the press this Thursday January 11, 2024.

Cameroon’s Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi was at the training ground at the National Ploytechnique Institute playground of Yamoussoukro.

This is the first main training since they got to Côte d’Ivoire political capital on Wednesday.

Indomitable Lions Head Coach Rigobert Song focused on putting in place a strong strategy that will prepare the team for victories in Group C.

Rigobert Song did not unveil his strategy during the 15 minutes open to the media in line with XAF regulations.

The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon are expected to play their first match on Tuesday January 15, against Guinea at the Charles Konan Bany stadium in Yamoussoukro.

The Minister of Sports and Physical education, Prof Narcisse Mouelle Kombi has expressed the encouragement of the government and the entire Cameroonian people to the Indomitable Lions who are expected to represent the country valuably and grab the trophy for the 6th time.
