Convened by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, the four-day workshop is focusing on eliminating non-tariff barriers, modernising customs systems, strengthening regional value chains, and promoting industrial transformation to unlock the full potential of intra-African trade.
Participants are also exploring strategies to empower small and medium-sized enterprises, women, and young entrepreneurs, whose active participation is essential to building an inclusive, competitive, and prosperous continental market.
For Cameroon, the meeting presents a strategic opportunity to consolidate its position as a regional trade hub while contributing to the successful implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area and Africa’s broader vision of economic integration.
