2019 AFCON: Cameroonian Referee, Sidi Alioum to officiate final match

Cameroonian International football referee, Sidi Alioum has been designated by CAF as the main referee of the 2019 AFCON finals pitting the Teranga Lions of Senegal and the Desert Foxes of Algeria.

The FIFA listed football refree, Sidi Alioum will be assisted by his compatriots MenKouande Evarist and Elvis Noupue, and a Congolese fourth official, Eric Arnaud Otogo.

The celebrity Cameroonian referee, Sidi Alioum and Menkouande Evarist, and two Senegalese nationals, Malick Samba and Maguette Diaye officiated the high profiled opening match of the 2019 AFCON pitting host, Egypt against Zimbabwe.

The Cameroonian international football referee was also the main man in a group D match fielded between Cote D’Ivoire and Morocco.

2019 AFCON: Knowing the main referee, Cameroonian Sidi Alioum

Sidi Alioum Neant is a 37 year old Cameroonian international football referee.

He was born on 17th July 1982 in Maroua, Capital of the Far North region of Cameroon.

During the 2014 World cup in Brazil, the Cameroonian was youngest referee at 32.

He is considered the best in Cameroon due to his professionalism, transparency and his rigorousness nature on the tuff.

The Cameroonian is a reference at the local and international scene be it FIFA World Cup, CAF Football Championships, Intercontinental tournaments and local leagues.

The football referee was also part of the 2017 AFCON expedition in Gabon and has also played lead roles in officiating the 2018 African Champions league games.

Statistics note that Sidi Alioum has officiated more than ninety-five international matches.

Sidi Alioum is CAF Referee nominee of the years; 2013 ,2014 and 2015, and 2018 Cameroonian Referee of the Year.
